Professional Grade

Professionally taught by private schools in Hollywood California since childhood, I was encouraged by my parents.   My father believed in the United States of America and loved our country with all his heart.  When he passed away and went to heaven he was buried, I did not snort his ashes or anything else.  I am drug free and sober as I drink miniscule (Church) to no alcohol.  As a child on one occasion as we met with a Hollywood agent.  I asked how I could be the biggest star.  The agent smiled and told me to be a super star.  When I asked him what to do he told me I would be more valuable if I could sing and dance, play a musical instrument, write songs, record original music, and produce final product.  My father and I took the agent seriously.  He bought me a guitar which I practiced on intensely.  Now in addition to going to professional acting lessons I was planning to produce an original record.  Owning my first stereo cassette recorder was my first production tool.  As time went on I had my own motion picture studio in my bedroom!   An Italian made Bogen fluid tripod was the foundation for my German Nizo Super 8 Sound Movie camera outfitted with a Schneider lens and an assortment of stuff Alan Gorden, Cinema Products, Century Precision, Birns and Sawyer and Kodak had super discounted.  I had an AGFA editing block and an Austrian Eumig projector.  I even had a Swiss Bolex cartridge projector to view my dailies, and a hand operated editing viewer.  I learned by self study and actually doing the work.  Of course I also studied in school as well, taking film and recording classes such as film analysis, directing, production and record production and engineering in addition to music theory, piano, guitar, voice lessons etc.   I produced short films, rock videos and about a dozen original rock and roll records before I was twenty one years old.  My first stereo cassette recorder gave way to professional multi track recording studio equipment or working in others professional studios.  I worked on Major Motion Pictures, Commercials, and put together an original music rock and roll band "The Michael Kegg Party".  We played private parties, Elementary,  Junior High, High Schools, Military bases, Colleges, Universities, indoors, outdoors Clubs and Auditoriums.  Two of our records were mastered at the Capitol Records tower at Hollywood and Vine home of the Beatles.  We also played the hottest clubs in Hollywood on the Sunset strip and world famous Doug Weston's Troubadour.  Thanks for all the reels of Ampex 456 guys.
